The Second Cycle of Intercultural Dialogue in the Mining Context, a space to analyze and discuss the current situation and challenges related to mining in territories inhabited by ethnic groups in Colombia, will be held from February 1 to March 1.

Hosted in 2021 by WWF Colombia, National Forum for Colombia Foundation – Central Region Chapter, the Dialogue Group on Mining in Colombia (GDIAM) and the Alliance for Responsible Mining, the first dialogue cycle aimed to have a conversation on the topic with multiple delegates and partners. This is a space for dialogue between men and women leaders, students and public servants interested in mining in ethnic territories of Colombia.

Virtual sessions during this cycle will be also streamed on YouTube via the Alliance for Responsible Mining’s official channel to the general public every Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The main topic for the sessions of this second cycle will be ethnic differential approaches. Participants attending three or more sessions will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the dialogue cycle.
