ProDHu-MAPE is a 2-year project with the objective of promoting respect for human rights through the improvement of the conditions of populations, directly and indirectly, involved in artisanal and small-scale mining.

Placed under the patronage of the Minister of Mines of Burkina Faso, the launching activity was attended by several civil society organizations and local and international development actors.

As part of this project, ARM’s mission will be to engage artisanal miners of the target communes in a process of legalization and formalization of their activity and in the progressive elimination of human rights violations.
