On the 2nd and 3rd of May 2012, the OECD Forum on implementation of Due Diligence in the gold supply chain takes place in Paris. The Alliance for Responsible Mining (ARM) is participating with the objective of bringing its knowledge of artisanal and small scale mining (ASM) to the table. ARM would like to ensure that concrete implementation mechanisms are identified so that the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Gold will have the intended positive effect on artisanal and small scale mining communities in conflict areas.
