INTERNATIONAL WOMEN AND MINING NETWORK (RIMM) MEETS IN THE PHILIPPINES

Baguio City, the Philippines was a host to a meeting of the International Women and Mining Network (www.rimmrights.org) this July.

The objective of this strategic planning meeting was to review the structure and coordination of the network and come out with a plan of action for the future campaigns as a global platform for women affected by mining.

The meeting was attended by 18 members from Indonesia, India, the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Nigeria and Mongolia. Read more
