Yesterday, TECNNOVA and ARM held an event on the formalization of ASM in Colombia in which various international experts participated as well as representatives of the national government, more specifically the Ministry of Mines and Energy, and the local government of Antioquia.
The focus of the discussions was the on the different aspects that need to be taken into account when formalizing ASM, such as a strategy that support the development and implementation of mining policies that include ASM and recognize it as a part of the sector.
