Civil Society table for EITI in Colombia is an initiative born in 2013 with the purpose of promoting greater transparency and access to public information in the extractive sector (oil, mining and gas) in Colombia; many social and academic organizations around the country are members.
ARM has participated in the Bureau since the time of its formation, contributing with our experience in the Artisanal and Small-scale Mining in the various discussions that take place.
This initiative, which has allowed the linkage and articulation of social organizations in the process of Colombia’s candidature to become part of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative -known as EITI, now has an Internet portal and presence on social networks like Facebook and Twitter.
