With the aim of inculcating new ideas, proposals and strategies that respond to current challenges in the artisanal and small-scale mining sector (ASM) and its greater integration in the local and global economy, the Alliance for Responsible Mining (ARM) will expand its board of directors to 11 members.

The profiles of the new members will be:

– A civil society representative;

– a representative of the private sector, and

– a representative of the mining sector, and ASM manufacturer.
